Bangladesh cricket team, splitting into two groups, is set to take off for South Africa to play a full-fledged bilateral series against the top-flight Proteas today.
The first batch of the team will leave Dhaka for Benoni morning of the day while the second batch will depart at night.
The series comprised of two Tests as many Twenty20 Internationals coupled with three-match one-day international series, starting September 28.
The month-long tour will open with Test series and end with Twenty20 series.
Tigers will play a three-day practice match at the Willowmoore Park, Benoni before going into the two-match Test series.
The two sides will formally take on
each another in the first Test at the Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on September 28 to October 2.
The second and last Test will be played at the Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein on October 6-10 before stepping into the one-day series.
The first one day of the three-match ODI series will be held at the De Beers Diamond Oval, Kimberley on October 15. Of course, they will play another one-day practice match against the Cricket South Africa Invitational XI at the Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein on October 12.
The second and third one day will be taken place at the Boland Park, Paarl and Buffalo Park, East London on October 18 and 22 respectively.
The visitors will return to Bloemfontein whereby they will face off in the first T20 against the Proteas at the Mangaung Oval on October 26.
The tourists will take on the home side in the tour-ending match of the second and last T20 at the Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on October 29.
