Awami League (AL)-led 14-party alliance will hold a meeting at the AL President Sheikh Haisna's Dhanmondi political office this morning, reports BSS. "The meeting will be held at 11 am," said a press release of ruling Awami  League this afternoon. The 14-parrty spokesman and AL presidium member Mohammed Nasim, also the  health and family welfare minister, urged all concerned to attend the meeting  in time, the release added.

Accusing BNP of introducing vote rigging culture in the country, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asserted that none will be allowed to play ducks and drakes with the voting rights of the people in future.

"The next general election must be held in a free, fair and neutral manner ... none will be allowed to play ducks and drakes with the voting rights of the people and we won't let it happen," she said.
