Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized 1000 yaba tablets from Kalabagan area of the capital on Monday.
The arrestee was Wali Hasan Diptu. Talking to The Independent, Deputy Police Commissioner Muntasirul Islam of DMP, said on secret information, a team of DB (South), led by Assistant Police Commissioner Ruhul Amin Sagar, raided at Kalabagan and arrested the drug peddler. According to his information, the DB team seized 1000 yaba tablets from his possession. During primary interrogation, he admitted his involvement in yaba peddling for long time.
