A suspected militant was killed in a bomb explosion at a house in Kashor area of Bhaluka upazila yesterday evening, reports UNB from Mymensingh.

The deceased could not be identified yet. Mamunur Rashid, OC of Bhaluka Police Station, said the bomb went off at the house around 6pm. The deceased ‘militant’ along with his wife and a child rented the house only three days back, he said, adding that they encircled the house for conducting a drive inside. The OC also said they detained house owner Azim Uddin for interrogation.
