Every Eid-ul-Azha, I saw my mom prepare this dish. She learned it from my grandma, just like I learned it from her. It is a very easy recipe and I believe everyone should try it. For Eid, we cook a lot of meat and to cook quickly, we do not add many spices. This recipe is all about adding extra spices to the cooked beef, and making is simply irresistible!
Ingredients
Cooked beef, 1kg
Chopped onions, 1 cup
Fried cumin seed powder, 1 tablespoon
Chopped green chilies, 5
Salt, 1 tablespoon
Mustard oil or oil from pickles, 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Cut the beef into small pieces and mix all the ingredients together, let it marinate for 45 minutes.
Method
Heat the cooking pan and put in all the ingredients. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, and only add water if it starts sticking to the pan.
