‘Brand Yourself’ _ through this tagline, the Rajshahi University Career Club (RUCC) started its journey on June 19, 2013 on the university campus. The club was the outcome of the hard work of some dedicated and passionate persons.  

Internal activities of the club include weekly meetings and arrangement of different competitions and workshops for skill development of its members. All the members are grouped according to their career objectives, like BCS, MNC, bank job, etc.

In this world, each individual has huge potentials. RUCC tries to ensure a pathway to utilise those potentials perfectly. For the best career development of university students, including freshers and graduates, this club already has arranged a large number of seminars, workshops, competitions, and job fairs.

The premier event of the Club, the RUCC Job Fair, has been organised over the past four years. It is a two-day event, where different local and multinational companies book stalls and set up CV banks to recruit fresh graduates. Graduates of all departments are invited to drop their CVs and network with different company representatives directly. RUCC members help the companies to choose their required applicants from the CV bank. In the past four job fairs, about 300 graduates were recruited. Alongside screening of CVs, some sessions and workshops were also arranged. A few resource persons of many reputed companies also conducted multiple seminars on corporate grooming, soft and hard skill-sharing, motivational talks and so on.

Some activities of RUCC over the past couple of years include Robi Career Carnival 2015 for the recruitment of fresh graduates, Pran Recruitment Camp 2015 that recruited 15 graduates, Recruitment Camp of RFL Group 2015 that recruited 12 graduates, and Bdjobs.com-RUCC Career Fest, organised in 2014 and 2016, which offered jobs, career and corporate world related information to graduates.

Apart these activities, RUCC also observes national holidays, like Pahela Baishakh, International Mother Language Day, Independence Day, Victory Day, etc.

The Rajshahi University Career Club has become a well-known and successful student organisation in the past four years. RUCC believes that: “The future depends on what you do today”(Mahtma Gandhi).
