Alongside acting in several tele-dramas and telefilms, audience-admired actor and director Tauquir Ahmed is making two telefilms and one tele-drama on the occasion of upcoming Eid. Meanwhile, he has completed the shooting of two telefilms, while the shooting of the tele-drama is expected to take place on August 19 and 20.
Directed and written by Tauquir Ahmed, two Eid special telefilms are ‘Megher Arharle Megh’ and ‘Protipokkho’. In ‘Megher Arhale Megh’, Shampa Reza, Tareen and Rawnak have acted with Tauquir Ahmed. Besides, Mousumi Nag, Razib Salehin, Bhabna and Tauquir Ahmed have acted in the telefilm ‘Protipokkho’.
On the other hand, Saberi Alam, Maria Nur and Siam will act in the tele-drama ‘Dampotyo’ under the direction of Tauquir Ahmed. This tele-drama is also written by Tauquir Ahmed himself.
Moreover, the work of Tauquir Ahmed-directed new film ‘Halda’ is almost complete. He would submit the film to the censor board after the upcoming Eid.
Tauquir Ahmed said about his Eid projects and new film, “This is really very tough to get a good script from anyone nowadays. For this reason, I myself have written three wonderful scripts taking time. I have tried to do some mind-blowing works in my own style. I hope the Eid telefilms and tele-drama will entertain the viewers.”
“Besides, I have tried to make the film ‘Halda’ in an appropriate manner according to the demand of its story. One will find Bangladesh in ‘Halda’, a riverine Bangladesh will be presented. ‘Halda’ is a film with the story of common people. I think those who will go to the cinema hall to watch the film, they would like the film”, the multiple-award winning director added.
To note, Tauquir Ahmed-directed last film was ‘Oggatonama’, which has received various international awards in the meantime.
