Sadika Parvin Popy’s new film ‘Sona Bondhu’ is set to be released during the Eid-ul-Azha. The director of the film Jahangir Alam Sumon said the final preparation is underway to release the film in coming Eid. Meanwhile, Popy has completed the dubbing of her part for the film on last Thursday. Alongside Popy who will be seen playing an important role in the film, DA Tayeb, Pori Moni, Anwara, Jhuna Chowdhury, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, among others, have acted in the film.

Popy said about working in the film, “I will be seen playing a challenging role in my new film ‘Sona Bondhu’. I always try to portray my characters appropriately. I did the same for my role named Roshni in this film too. It can be said the audience will discover me in the new avatar in ‘Sona Bondhu’. I am really optimistic about the film.” The story, dialogue and screenplay of ‘Sona Bondhu’ have been written by Mahbuba Shahrin.
