Poet and political commentator Farhad Mazhar is now being counseled by a psychiatrist of BIRDEM Hospital in the capital since he is still traumatised following his going missing early Monday and recovery after 19 hours, according to his family sources.
“His (Farhad’s) condition is unchanged. He is being counseled by a psychiatrist of the BIRDEM hospital,” said Seema Das, director of Ubinig, a non-government organization, and a family friend of Mazhar.
“He is traumatised following the incident and will take time to recover from the shock,” she said. Prof Dr AKM Musa, who is attending Mazhar, said Farhad Mazhar was in a good condition now.
Asked for details, the doctor said Mazhar does not have any disease and that his release depends on the authority.
