The 31^st National Lotus Flower Exhibition opened in Kunming Daguan Park on June 26, displaying more than 10,000 lotus flowers of more than 500 varieties. Among them, several hundreds of varities were first exhibited in Kunming.

With 40 exhibition areas, the National Lotus Flower Exhibition is the most influential of its kind in China, attracting 71 exhibitors from 28 provinces nationwide and 12 foreign countries. Serial activities such as photography exhibition, intangible cultural heritage exhibition and cheongsam show are also taking place during the lotus exhibition.
