Chittagong University Vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday. During the meeting, the resident underscored the need for maintaining congenial academic atmosphere in the university, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told UNB.
