BNP-Jamaat conspiring to foil election: AL

Awami League (AL) yesterday blamed the BNP-Jamaat clique for intriguing to let loose violence with help of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI to foil the December 30 elections and accused Oikyafront top leader Dr Kamal Hossian of ‘working as the guardian of those who still believe in Pakistani ideology’. “BNP-Jamaat is hatching conspiracies to resort to large-scale violence centering the national polls. Intelligence agency ISI is working behind the conspiracies so that people can be killed during the elections and the polls are thwarted,” Awami League joint general secretary Abdur Rahman said.
