Ending all speculations, President Md Abdul Hamid yesterday formed a 6-member search committee to reconstitute the next Election Commission (EC), which will conduct the next general elections scheduled for January 2019.A judge of the Appellate Division, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, who headed the first search committee in 2012, has been made the head of the committee for the second consecutive time.
