As part of the ongoing shake-up in secretary-level positions in the civil administration, the government will transfer at least eight secretaries to different ministries and divisions from today. The public administration ministry has finalised the names of the secretaries who will be transferred, said sources in the ministry. After Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury was appointed the principal secretary to the Prime Minister, the post of senior secretary of the public administration ministry has been vacant.
