5 of a family murdered in Narayanganj
Five members of a family, including two children, were hacked to death inside their rented flat at Baburail in Narayanganj city by unidentified assailants. Police recovered throat-slit bodies of the five victims from their flat on the ground floor of a four-storey building yesterday evening. Hajera, a relative of the victims, identified the deceased as Taslima, 35, her son Shanto, 10, daughter Sumaiya, 5, brother Morshedul and daughter-in-law Lamia, 25.
