The BNP is planning a major campaign blitz for the party candidates who will contest the December 30 municipality elections for the first time under the party symbol. The vigorous campaign is likely to be spearheaded by party chairperson Khaleda Zia to mobilise public support for the mayoral candidates, according to party leaders.
