Cops aiding smuggling rings
Involvement of dozens of police personnel in drug and arms smuggling has been unearthed in a recent investigation. After receiving the report, the PMO asked the home ministry to take action against the policemen involved, sources in the ministry said. The PMO also directed the ministry to arrest the smugglers as soon as possible. All these police personnel were directly helping several smuggling syndicates of the northern areas of the country.
