RMG factory worker hacked dead

Chittagong: A garment worker was hacked to death by some identified miscreants in Kattoli area of the port city on Friday night, reports UNB.
The dead is identified as Md Arif, 22, hailed from Rupsa upazila in Khulna and also a worker of FB Fashion, a garment factory, in the area.
Locals and witnesses said three to four miscreants attacked Arif with sharp weapons while he was hiring a taxi to return to his residence, leaving him seriously injured around 9:30pm. He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).
The in-charge of CMCH police outpost, Jahirul Islam, said Arif succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
