Munshiganj: Two of the three people, who went missing as two trawlers capsized in Louhajang upazila on Saturday, still remain missing, reports UNB.
The two vessels carrying 60 people sank in the Padma River amid inclement weather. Yunus Ali, in-charge of Mawa police outpost, said Jahangir, 28, one of the three victims, managed to swim ashore and reach his house. The missing two are Sohel, 25, and Zakir, 32. Assistant police super M Shamsuzzaman said the two sand-laden trawlers met the accident at Kumarbhog around 3:15pm due to strong currents in the river.
