Criminal killed in Meherpur gunfight

Meherpur: A suspected criminal was killed in a reported gunfight between two groups of criminals at Monakhali of Mujibnagar upazila early yesterday, reports UNB.The deceased was identified as Majibul Haq Moji, an alleged criminal, hailing from Jatarpur village in the upazila.Tipped off that two gangs of criminals were exchanging gunshots at Korgarta field, a team of police went to the spot at around 2:15am, said Ahsan Habib, assistant superintendent (circle) of Meherpur Police.
