A 10-day Jamdani exhibition will begin on the premises of Bangladesh National Museum in the capital today, reports UNB.
Bangladesh Small & Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) and Bangladesh National Museum will jointly arrange the event.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu will inaugurate the exhibition at 3 pm while Textile and Jute Minister Md Emaz Uddin Pramanik, Industries Ministry senior secretary Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan and Textile and Jute secretary Md Faizur Rahman Chowdhury, among others, will speak on the occasion.
A total 26 stalls will be set up in the exhibition to showcase various kinds of Jamdani sharees.
