Communicable Disease Control (CDC) unit of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has started awareness raising campaign about the Chikungunya to protect people from the disease, reports BSS.
The campaign began yesterday from ward number 9 and 10 in Mirpur-1.
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will conduct the campaign in nine wards in the corporation area while Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) will carry out in five zones.
Five doctors, five nurses, two local mosque imams, two local councilors and teachers' representatives will take part in the campaign.
