Biman declares Eid offer, decides to operate extra flights

Biman Bangladesh airlines yesterday declared Eid offer by reducing its fare on domestic routes and decided to operate extra domestic flights to meet the demand of heavy passengers flow centering Eid holidays, reports BSS.
The national flag carrier will operate one extra flight on Dhaka-Syedpur route on June 23 and one extra flight on Dhaka-Jessore route on June 24.
"We don't need to give extra flight to Chittagong and Sylhet routes as we operate those routes with wide-bodied aircraft," Biman's spokesperson Shakil Meraj told the news agency.
Biman offers minimum Tk 2000 one-way on from Rajshahi, Syedpur, Jessore, Barishal and Sylhet to Dhaka and Tk 2500 from Chittagong to Dhaka between June 19 and 26.
After Eid, the fare will be Tk 2000 one-way on from Dhaka to Rajshahi, Syedpur, Jessore, Barishal and Sylhet and Tk 2500 from Dhaka to Chittagong between June 27 and July 3.
