Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi farmer from Thakurpur frontier in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga yesterday, reports UNB. Sources at the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-6 said a BSF patrol team entered the Bangladesh territory along pillar No 89 in Thakurpur border in the afternoon and picked up Bhakku, 39, son of late Gopal Mandal, while he was grazing cattle in a field. BGB Battalion-6 official Rashedul Alam said they sent a letter to the BSF for holding a flag meeting to return the victim.
