Two killed in Comilla road mishap
Two were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a pick-up van on Comilla-Brahmanbaria highway early Thursday. Shahjahan Khan, inspector of Mirpur Highway Police outpost of the upazila, said the accident took place around 2 am in the area when a Comilla-bound truck collided head-on with Brahmanbaria-bound pick-up van, leaving Salauddin, 22, the owner and driver of the pick-up van and its helper Abul Mia, 30, dead on the spot. Salauddin, son of Abu Hanif hailed from Balibari village while Abul Mia, son of Moharram Ali from Ghosna village of the upazila.
