Nat’l football coach Ord arrives

Andrew Ord, the newly appointed Bangladesh national football team’s coach arrived Dhaka on Sunday night to join in his job.

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) appointed him for one year with the condition that he would not resign before six months or BFF will also not sack him within six months but after a year both sides can renew their contract.
Right now Bangladesh national team have no competition but there are two AFC age group competitions and Andrew will start his job with the Under-23 and Under-19 national sides. Then in September, national team will play FIFA friendly matches in home and away followed the Bangabandhu Gold Cup football tournament in December and the SAFF Championship to be held at the mid of 2018.
