3 electrocuted in Jessore

Three people died of electrocution in separate incidents in sadar upazila and Benapole in Sharsha upazila of Jessore yesterday, reports UNB. In Sadar upazila, Rashida Khatun, wife of Abdul Wahid of Mobarakkathi village sustained critical injuries after coming in contact with a live electric wire while giving connection of a TV on Thursday night, said hospital sources.
The family members took her to the hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, Mithun Das, driver of a human hauler, and son of Jiten Das of Nawapara area of Sadar upazila died of electrocution while trying to connect his human hauler with the electric plug in Shekher hati area on Friday morning.
