A man was shot to death by miscreants in front of Minakkhi Cinema Hall at Daulatpur upazila in Khunla yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Iqbal Sarwar, 47, an employee of a local insurance company and resident of Anjuman road area of the upazila. Officer-in-charge of Daulatpur Police Station Anwar Hossain said some miscreants on a bike came in front of the cinema hall at night and shot him to death.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
