Man hacked dead in Pabna

PABNA: A man was chopped to death by some unidentified miscreants in Masum Bazar area of the district town on Thursday night, reports BSS.The deceased was identified as Mollah Masud, 40, son of Zakir Hossain Mollah, a resident of the area.Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Thana Police Abdur Razzak said as a sequel to previous enmity some miscreants engaged with altercation with Masud around 9pm in the area while he was returning home after tarabi prayer.At one stage of altercation, they stabbed him indiscriminately leaving Masud dead on the spot.
