3 held with 15 lakh shrimp fry

Munshiganj: Members of Coast Guard arrested three people along with 15 lakh shrimp fry from Shimulia ferry ghat area early yesterday, reports UNB.The arrestees were Rubel Islam, 31, Md Rashed, 25, and Amzad Hossain, 55.
Abdul Jalil, contingent commander of Mawa Coast Guard, said  being tipped off, a team of coast guard conducted a drive at no 3 ferry ghat area around 4 am and seized 73 drums of shrimp fries worth Tk 75 lakh from a truck.
A case was filed.
