MP among six hurt in Dinajpur road crash

The lawmaker from Dinajpur-1 constituency Manoranjan Shill Gopal and five others sustained injuries in a road accident on Dinajpur-Dhaka highway in Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur yesterday. Md Ariful Islam, sub-inspector of Ghoraghat Police Station, said the accident took place in Nitai Mor area of the upazila after a human hauler collided head-on with the MP’s private car around 4pm, leaving six, including the lawmaker, injured, reports UNB. The other injured are Abul kalam, 38 and Rubel, 40, assistant personal secretaries of the MP; human hauler driver Faruk, 30; and passengers Shafikul Islam, 25; and Jaynal, 38.
