Nilkhet book market catches fire

A fire broke out at Nilkhet book market in the capital’s New Market area on yesterday evening, reports UNB. Sources at Fire Service and Civil Defense control room said the fire broke out at a shop in the market around 7:50pm and it soon engulfed the adjacent other shops. On information, nine fire-fighting units rushed in and are working to douse the blaze. However, it is not still clear what caused the fire.
