Followers of 3 Ctg Darbar Sharif start fasting today

The followers of Mirzarkhill Darbar Sharif of Sakkhania upazila, Chilcilia Aliya Jahangir Peer and Shah Sufi Darbar Sharif of Chandanish upazila will be started Holy Ramadan (fasting) from today in line with their tradition, heritage and time of the Middle east, reports BSS. People of 31 villages from the followers of Mirzakhill and Shahsufi of Elahabad Darbar Sharif will start their fasting every year before one or two days ahead after sighting the new moon in the country, Darbar sources informed. The villages where fasting will start from today are located in Patiya, Chandanish, Satkania, Anwara, Banskhali, Chakaria, Sitakhunda, Feni and Fatikchhari areas. Meanwhile, at least 2,000 followers of Chilcilia Alia Jahangir Peer Darbar Sharif and Momtajir Darbar Sharif under Chandhanaish upazila in Chittagong will also start their fasting from today.
