Premier clubs seek Tk 50 lacs each from BFF

Eight Clubs of the Bangladesh Premier League Football will hand out six conditions to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) ahead of starting the league yesterday.

In presence of six clubs they had a meeting yesterday at a city hotel while two teams agreed with the decision of the meeting.
The clubs agreed with the decisions like, BFF will have to clear the due payments to the clubs within May 30, 2017, BFF must convey to the clubs about any meeting notice before 72 hours, BFF will have to pay Taka 50 lakhs to each clubs of BPL 2017 as participation money and Taka 25 lakhs before starting the first leg and rest before the 2nd registration window of BPL, 2017, if BFF will make any delay to pay, BFF will have to pay the compensation to the clubs, all the venues of the league (Bangladesh Premier League) must comply with the FIFA and AFC infrastructure standards (proper match stadiums, practice venues, hotel facilities etc) and the prize money for the champions team of 2017 league will have to increase to Taka 30 lakhs, runners-up Taka 20 lakhs and for the 3rd placed Taka 10 lakhs. 
The meeting was represented by Mazur Kader of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Tarafdar Ruhul Amin of Chittagong Abahani Limited, Amer Khan of Brothers Union, AKM Mominul HAque Sayeed of Arambagh, Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club and Nasiruddin Chowdhury of Saif Sporting Club while no representatives from Muktijoddha and Team BJMC attended but they agreed with the decisions which were taken in the meeting and Abahani Limited Dhaka, Farashganj Sporting Club, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra and Rahmatganj MFS did not attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the BFF league committee, which was scheduled to be held yesterday at 4pm, was postponed as only four teams out of 12 teams of the Bangladesh Premeir League were present.
