Eleven Bangladeshi nationals including six women, who were trafficked in India, returned on Wednesday after completing two years and six months jail in India for illegal entry into the country. India Petrapole Immigration Police handed over them to the Bangladesh Benapole Checkpost Immigration Police on Wednesday afternoon. The returnees were identified as Sharmin Akhter, 19, Anwara khatun, 30, Rupa khatun, 20, helena khatun, 18, Swapna khatun, 20, mamtaj begum, 38, Yusuf Hossain, 18, Shamim Rahman, 20, Ebadat Hossain, 17, Rabbi, 17, and Jahid, 16. They are inhabitants of different areas of Jessore, Narail, Madaripur, Faridpur and Bagerhat districts. Officer-in-Charge of Benapole Checkpost Immigration Police Omar Sharif confirmed the matter.
