Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested three persons from the capital’s Motijheel area yesterday morning on charges of trafficking a woman to Jordan and extorting Taka 2.8lakh from her family, reports BSS.
DB personnel have recently rescued the victim from Jordan and brought her back to Dhaka after holding talks with the traffickers over mobile phone.
