A man died of heat stroke at Parshuram, in Feni, yesterday, as the country continued to sizzle under a scorching heat wave that entered its sixth day. This is the third heat wave spell since April.
Huda Mia, 55, trader of building materials, was on his way to the Bux Mahmud Bazar in Parshuram when he collapsed. He was declared dead by the doctor at the Parshuram upazila health complex where he was rushed by the local people, The Independent correspondent Mamun Choudhury reported from Noakhali.
