Stress on eco-friendly sanitation

KHULNA: Speakers at an advocacy meeting here yesterday stressed the need for developing environment-friendly sanitation and supplying safe water to ensure sound health for mass people, reports BSS.
“Natural supply of safe water and taking effective measures for protecting safe water and hygiene sanitation system must be ensured,” they said.
The meeting on effective planning and budget implementation in developing sanitation system in Union Parishad was held at the auditorium of Christian Service Society (CSS) in the city.
CSS in assistance with Woord En Daad,a Nederland organisation arrenged the meeting.
Director of CSS Health Programme Sazzadur Rahim Pantha chaired the meeting while chairman of Khulna Zilla Parishad Sheikh Harun-Ur-Rashid was attended as the chief guest.
