Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home early today, wrapping her four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab Islamic-American (AIA) Summit at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Earlier, a VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left King Khalid International Airport at 4:15pm(local time). Deputy Governor of JeddahMohammed bin Hamad Al-Wafiand Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Golam Moshi saw her off at the airport. During her visit, Sheikh Hasina also performed Umrah in Makkah and offered ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in Madinah. She also had an informal meeting with US President Donald Trump and invited him to visit Bangladesh. Trump accepted her invitation and expressed his desire to visit Bangladesh in the future.
