Australian Ord will be new football coach

Andrew Ord, English born Australian finally is going to be the national football coach of Bangladesh when the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) officially decided to appoint him yesterday. 

Headed by the BFF president Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin, in an emergency meeting of the BFF decided that Andrew Ord will be appointed for one year with effect from June 1. 
Andrew, who completed the AFC professional license in 2016, AFC A license in 2008, UEFA C and B License in 1999 and 2006. 
The Australian has the best experience in his coaching career is as a senior assistant coach of the Perth Glory FC of Australia and scouting the opponents of FIFA World Cup 2-18 qualifying campaign when he scouted the games of Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, Japan and prepared detail reports for the Australian national team coaching staff. 
Besides that he was also coach of Thailand National Under-20 and Under-23 team’s coach in 2012 and 2013. 
However, Andrew will begin his job with looking after the Bangladesh youth team when he will get the team after the conclusion of ongoing Federation Cup on June 5 when the preliminary camp will be held for 10 days. 
Meanwhile, Andrew would be the 20th foreign coach of Bangladesh national football team with German Werner Bickelhaupt was the first one in 1978 and Tom Saintfiet of Belgian was the last one before Andrew.
