2,600 unions under optical fibre by 2018

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak yestrday informed that 2,600-union will come under optical fiber by 2018, reports BSS.

"The project would be implemented with the financial assistance of Chinese government and a lone agreement will be signed soon between Bangladesh and China to this end," he told newsmen after a bilateral meeting with the visiting delegation of EXIM Bank of China.
EXIM Bank Vice President Sun Ping led the 12-member delegation.
