AFP, ATHENS: Four players involved in a brawl which sparked the abandoning of a playoff clash between Panathinaikos and PAOK Thessaloniki on Wednesday all picked up bans Thursday.
The heated four-way play offs in Greece are to decide who qualifies for the Champions League along with champions Olympiakos and who goes into the Europa League.
The match was suspended by referee Giorgos Kominos after PAOK coach Vladimir Ivic was hit in the head by a beer can in the 54th minute with Panathinaikos leading 1-0.
That incident came during a protracted melee between the four players, two from each team.
