Faruque Hassan elected DBCCI President

Managing Director of Giant Apparels Ltd Faruque Hassan has been elected President of the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI), reports UNB. The new committee took charge at the 17th annual general meeting (AGM) of the DBCCI held at a city hotel on Thursday evening.
Other office-bearers of the new committee are Vice President Hassan Mahamood Chowdhury, Vice President Rizwan-Ur Rahman, Secretary General Shahriar Taha, Joint Secretary General Ataus Sopan Malik, Director (Finance) Abdul Mumit and Directors - Kazi Aftabur Rahman, Shams Mahmud, Md Shahjahan Saju, Lion Kamrul Hassan Bachchu and Dr Ahmed Robin Ispahani.
Outgoing President Md Anwar Shawkat Afser chaired the AGM and handed over the responsibilities to the new committee.
Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Martine van Hoogstraten, were present.
