Law Minister Anisul Huq yesterday said the cabinet has already given its approval in principle to the draft of Digital Security Act and the ministry is now scrutinizing it, reports BSS.
“All the ambiguities of section 57 of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act will be cleared in the Digital Security Act. We have recently held an inter-ministerial meeting regarding this,” Anisul said.
He came up with the observation while talking to newsmen after handing over keys of five cars and six microbuses for lower court judges at the ministry this noon.
The minister added that the ministry will soon exchange views with the stakeholders of the act and then the law will be finalised.
