State Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury on Thursday said transformation of traditional land management into complete automation and digitalisation can increase the standard of land related services as well as ensure public security, reports UNB.
The state minister made the remark while speaking as the chief guest at a dissemination seminar on 'Digital Land Management System' project at Cirdap auditorium in the capital.
He also asked the officials, who are engaged in the activities of online mutation, digitalised record of rights, and preserving maps at Land offices, to be sincere in providing services to people as well as discharging their duties.
The Ministry has taken a pilot project named 'Strengthening Governance Management Project' at 46 land circle offices in 45 upazilas of seven districts under four divisions.
