Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Richard Marx left the Dhaka audience satisfied with his fascinating performance of pop-rock hits at the concert titled ‘Richard Marx Live in Dhaka’ on Tuesday. The concert took place at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital Creinse Limited, a leading consumer engagement, music and entertainment company in Bangladesh, organised the concert.
Not only the audience in Dhaka was enthralled with Richard Marx’s promising performance, but also the internationally-acclaimed singer was overwhelmed to witness he has a pretty wonderful fan base in Dhaka. Eventually, he learned that most of his popular songs are known by the audience as they sang with him from the audience seats during the entire time of the Tuesday’s concert.
Moreover, the local audience also shared another happy moment that Kazi Faisal Ahmed, a young guitarist from Bangladesh, also played guitar with Richard Marx’s famous song ‘Hazard’ with the singer on the same stage.
The singer is known for hits like ‘Endless Summer Nights’, ‘Hold on to the Nights,’ ‘Right Here Waiting’ and ‘Don’t Mean Nothing’, ‘Now and Forever,’ ‘Hazard’ and ‘At the Beginning’ performed non-stop two hours and made the audience immensely glad fulfilling almost every request came from them.
He ended the night with his power ballad ‘Right Here Waiting’.
