Planning minister AHM Mustafa Kamal yesterday said 'One Stop Service Act, 2017' will be placed in the upcoming session of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) to facilitate businesses in the country, reports BSS.
"The government will do everything for the development of the country. If required we will bring down the tax rates to zero per cent because we want to take the country ahead," said the planning minister and urged the
business people to go for a massive investment in the country. He was speaking at a seminar on 'Bangladesh's infrastructure' at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital. Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) organised theseminar with its president Abul Kashem Khan in the chair. Executive chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Kazi M Aminul Islam was present as special guest.
Country manager of International Finance Corporation (IFC) Wendy Jo Werner presented keynote paper at the seminar. Kamal said Padma bridge, Rooppur nuclear power plant, 1320MW Rampal power plant and deep seaport are among the priority projects of the government.
