FDC-Karwan Bazar portion to be opened today

 The Karwan Bazar-FDC part of the Moghbazar-Satrasta-Eskaton-Mouchak Flyover is set to be opened for public today to ease traffic congestion, reports BSS.
“A section of the flyover towards Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue from FDC intersection will be opened for public after its inauguration. Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Engineer Khandkar Mosharraf Hossain will inaugurate the flyover at 10 am,” Project Director Sushanta Kumar Paul told the news agency.
He said the 450-meter flyover was the part of Moghbazar-Mouchak Flyover project which was designed to connect a vast area of the capital to a fast moving road infrastructure system.
Local Government and Engineering Department is implementing the project with the finance of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID).
