6 CU students face action

UNB

The authorities of Chittagong University have expelled a student and suspended five others on various charges. Of them, Walidur Rahman, a student of the CU Finance Department, has been expelled for beating an on-duty doctor of the university medical centre on March 10, reports UNB from Chittagong. Tasnim Shikdar of the English Department, Shahriar Chowdhury Emon of the Music Department, Shahraz Chowdhury of the History Department, Mahmud Hasan of the Philosophy Department and Ziaur Haq Majumdar of the Anthropology Department have been suspended for six months each.
