BARISAL: Huge government medicines were found floating in a pond of the staff quarters of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH) yesterday morning, reports UNB Residents of the quarters said they found the medicines, with the expiry date of some being 2018 and some 2019, floating in the pond in the morning. Around 13 types of medicines have so far been identified among the dumped medicines. It is still not clear who dumped the medicines into the pond. On information, a team of police visited the spot. Dr SM Sirajul Haque, director of the hospital, said he sent the store officer to the spot. They will form a probe panel to look into the incident, the director added.
